Melbourne - RISE International Premiere
Hello, Hello.
So I am finally on the other side of the Melbourne premiere of RISE. I am also on the other side of a tear jerked standing ovation and a night I will never forget.
A short sweet visit last week and I must say, Melbourne was on its best behaviour. I had 28°C days, no rain, no last minute cold snaps or wind. It was enchanting.
I ran into some old friends Dan and Mica who rode their bikes from Brisbane to Melbourne in the first chapter of cycling 20 000 kms around Australia. To read more about their amazing journey go to their Chafin' Dreams Blog.
I also met up with two of my wonderful girlfriends from Uni. Elisha, a production coordinator on Nat Geo's A Model Adventure and fellow producer who has just moved to Melbourne, and Sumah, a continuity gem who just finished working on the second series of It's a Date for the ABC!
I am so, so proud of my group of friends and will be following their journeys closely.
Thank you again to everyone that supported me through the last two years on my own adventure delving into the process of producing a feature film.
Now I am re-learning to put my creative cap on and experience the best of candid photography. Here is my other Melbourne Travel Guide article.
